Saying Good-Bye to Jason's House

Two and a half years ago we moved our Dear Lillie offices to a property that had it's own workspace for our company and a house that was perfect for Jason. Well, at the end of this summer we realized we had outgrown that workspace and knew the time had come to move into an actual warehouse space. We were excited to find a great place in a nearby industrial park and once we got everything moved over there and Jason was set up and operating out of the new space we put this place on the market. We were sad to say good-bye but are excited about this new chapter! Earlier this week we officially sold it so we thought it would be fitting to share one last post with lots of before and afters. (There's a full source list for all the rooms at the bottom of this post).

The room we did the most work in was the kitchen. We didn't have to do anything too crazy - just cosmetic stuff but it was the room we put the most effort into. The dining room was pretty much just painting and changing out the floor:

And here is the living room:

And here is the hallway/entryway:

We never really did anything with Jason's room besides paint but here is the guest room/girls' room:

And here is the little extra room that functioned as a home office with an extra bed for guests. We called this the neopolitan ice cream room when we first moved in - one wall was pink, one vanilla  and one chocolate.

The girls' though the saloon doors were pretty cool =)

With the exception of changing the countertops and buying new appliances the rest of the house was done on a very small budget. We worked with lots of old furniture that had been handed down along with some free items from some of the wonderful companies we have had the opportunity to work with like HomeGoods, Wayfair and Joss and Main and and then stuck with stores like Ikea and Target when we needed to purchase larger type pieces like the dining room table and chairs.

    1. Haha yes, I did live there for a little more than 2 1/2 years. We never really did much to the master bedroom other than paint it, which is why we never featured it on the blog.

  13. Congratulations on your new warehouse space. The makeover on Jasons place was amazing, but nothing beats big open space like a warehouse for a business. xo
